MINISTRY POSITIONS
(roles that need a consistant committment)
o Fun Directors – A person that invents and leads games as well as exciting mini-activities during evening ministries. Marshmellow sticking contests, armpit noise contest, bubble blowing, dodge ball, gym games, water balloon toss, ect… Tries to invent and research activities that foster relationships and connection with the communicated topic of the evening.
o Small group leaders- Form relationships with the students and encourage them to find and apply biblical answers to their lives during our small group times on ministry nights.
o Bible Teacher - Teach Biblical truth on given opportunities like Sunday School.
o Presenter – Dynamic presenters who enjoy creating powerful presentations of biblical concepts.
o Leadership Trainer – works with Justin to provide leadership training opportunities for students.
o Small Groups Director – Carefully places students into small groups and stays informed as to the successes and issues within the small groups. Informs Justin as to small group needs and also researches training opportunities for the small group leaders.
o Mentor – Big hearted people who work with students on a more individual basis to encourage behavior adjustments or provide support during difficult times of life (divorce, death, trauma, recovery). This position can also work with students with special needs.
o OTHER??? You may have a special gifting or passion that you don’t see here and want to know how that might fit. Please let me know what that is and I will give you a call to talk about it.
SUPPORT POSITIONS
(Roles that require a one time, flexible, or on/off committment)
o Special Event Coordinators - A person that heads up event planning for special events. They also attend the event and make sure that the details are taken care of. Works closely with Justin for periods of time. This could be as simple as a picnic or as advanced as a missions trip.
o Special Event aids – A person that serves under the leadership of a Special Event Coordinator to share the details and management of an event.
o Ministry Registrar – registers students and maintains contact data as well as attendance for the ministry. This person also manages event signups and works with the Special Event Coordinator. Works closely with Justin. Valerie is another key supporter in this and trains registrars.
o Event Registrar – A person that registers students for events and manages the financial aspects of that event.
o Registration aids – A person that assists in the intake and maintenance of contact data and attendance for the ministry.
o Media Managers – People who like to press buttons and use technology to enhance environments and presentations.
o Environment Creators – A person that leads set up environments for ministries. Decoration, furniture arrangement, lighting, ambiance, background music, ect…
